Telltale is currently working on a new season of Minecraft: Story Mode, The Walking Dead, Batman, and The Wolf Among Us, as well as a yet to be announced adaptation. In a recent interview with EuroGamer, Telltale’s head of creative communications, Job Stauffer, stated that the current workload Telltale is under when it comes to producing new seasons of other adaptations means that the next season of Game of Thrones won’t be released anytime soon. Unfortunately, it looks like they’ll have to wait a bit longer.

Telltale launched the first season of its adaptation of the Game of Thrones TV show back in late 2014 and the series was a huge hit with gamers and show watchers alike. Things are sure to get better in Season 2. Every series seems to attract its own legion of fans who are eager to see a return of their favorite series. I was honestly happy when I came to the (very lame) end and it was all over.Telltale has become well known for its episodic game series which adapt comics, TV shows, and even other games into series such as The Walking Dead, The Wolf Among Us, and the Borderlands games. This game is unable to reward the player in any way. It’s always awkward when you have the potential to kill off a character, because a few of them likely won’t be in the sequel since Telltale have a history of not being bothered to do multiple storylines depending on who players chose to save at the end of the last season (Walking Dead S2/3). No matter what you did, every action had only negative outcomes. I'm a Telltale and GoT fan, but this game was simply terrible.
TL DR: Game wasn't satisfying for all the time I put in, waiting for season 2 to see if it's worth my time (It probably won't be since it killed my favorites off and buried the ones still living, but I'm usually pessimistic. If season 2 comes out anytime this year, I'll most likely will wait to buy it and see what other's experiences are and hopefully it isn't treated the same as season one. Season Two would have served as a sequel to the 2014-15 series 'Game of Thrones: A Telltale Games Series', but is not currently in development. It was such an underrated game, definitely one of my favourite Telltale games. I was totally screwed in the end with everyone dead or heading there fast. Game of Thrones: Season Two was a series based on HBOs Game Of Thrones television series and was intended to take place in that continuity.
